Maria came to work at the printing company where I was employed in 1978 and we became bestest friends. After braving the 1979 Blizzard I encouraged her to move to San Diego. It wasn’t hard. We worked together again from 1982-1984 when I married and moved to New York City. We worked again from 1986 -1988 at another printing company in San Diego. These are a few of the photos that show what our lives looked like back then.
