Diana took a job with Continental Airlines Computer Systems in LA so we left New York City in a taxi that scared the heck out of us. We had made a few trips out there first and bought cars and a house so all we needed was furniture. We moved to Redondo Beach into a “railroad house” which was narrow (18 feet) and long (90 feet). Diana bought the house using a real estate agent who had worked for her at National Airlines in Miami before moving to LA.
