It was just Perry and me and a couple of thousand tourists at The Forbidden City, seen in numerous movies through the years. It is just as spectacular in person.
One of the cameras I schlepped from home was the GigaPan robotic panorama device. It creates massively detailed photos and is a real crowd catcher in use. I was interviewed by a German documentary photographer about it. It was pretty cool. Perhaps it will show on TV someday.
