USS Missouri
October 7, 2005

This is a very famous battleship. It was the ship that was used to accept the Japanese Surrender during World War II. For some reason, Donna had to go visit it. We don't know what the attraction is. Go figure. (Okay, Donna is from Missouri. That's why.)

(As usual, click on the little picture to see the big picture.)

The day starts with Donna giving Tom encouragement to make a few cell phone calls on the way to the ship.

A copy of the surrender document.

The spot the card table was set up to record the surrender at the end of WWII.

A plaque commemorating my guys' contribution to the history of our nation. Semper Fi.

The difference between a good picture of Tom and Donna and a great picture is fill flash. I take great pictures.

The day ends with Tom making a few more cell phone calls leaving the ship.
